I’ve always been a curious person. Some might call it nosy, but for me it’s about wanting to understand what makes each person unique. That curiosity began with my own story, figuring out who I am and where I come from. Growing up in an immigrant household as a biracial person brought its own challenges, and those experiences shaped my connection to this work. Mental health has always felt deeply personal to me. Having been impacted by it both directly and indirectly, I’ve learned to turn adversity into strength and purpose, and to connect with others through empathy and understanding. Think of therapy as a choose-your-own-adventure. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are at. Some sessions might be spent processing the pain of a difficult breakup, while others may focus on something lighter, like venting about a character you can’t stand in a show you’re watching. I value the open-endedness of person-centered therapy and enjoy finding creative and meaningful ways to support clients.

I am a humanistic and relational therapist that is passionate about the power of human connection and strongly values the healing properties of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm and safe space where individuals can feel safe to explore difficult topics, believing that this is the first and most important step in the healing process. I recognize that the human experience is often deeply complex and painful, yet has the potential to be beautiful and fulfilling as well. My goal in working with people is to walk alongside them and help them to better understand themselves, gain insight, work through the more painful moments of the past, and discover their own capability to cope with and grow through life’s hardships. My approach to therapy is holistic, exploring the many components and intersecting areas of a person’s life. Additionally, I work to tailor each therapeutic experience to the individual, accounting for the unique needs of each person. I have experience working with trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, identity issues, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I love utilizing humor, creativity, and mindfulness in session, as I believe tapping into these elements can be incredibly healing.

“The world is your oyster.” That was what my mom said as we held each other’s hands before I drove off to start my college life. Along with independence came feelings of insecurity that weighed down my motivation. But, with support, I found my way. We all need support sometimes. I’m glad you’re here to explore the benefits that clinical therapy might offer you. Our talented team of professionals consists of career changer counselors, newly emerging into the profession, and expert counselors, putting their advanced niche training into action. Professionally, we embody a myriad of unique counseling specialties and treatment styles, and personally, each of our therapists embraces their own cultural intersectional identities. Our team encompasses multiple representations of sociocultural groups, and whether you are seeking a therapist who is similar to you, or who is different from you, we are consistent in our compassion, empathy, and communication. We take pride in recognizing and understanding you for yourself, nurturing the therapeutic relationship, and providing service that is above and beyond expectations. What makes our group practice unique is that we are more than just a team of therapists providing services to clients. We strongly believe in taking care of our providers because if our therapists are not feeling satisfied and fulfilled in their work, they will not be able to help clients thrive in achieving their therapy goals. We are thrilled to provide our team with generous employee wellness benefits, fruitful clinical supervision, evolved multicultural counseling competency support, and unmatched professional growth and development opportunities.

The students I work best with are often juggling a lot—classes, exams, relationships, family expectations, jobs, and the constant pressure to “have it all figured out.” If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, unmotivated, or just not like yourself lately, you’re not alone. College can be exciting, but it can also be lonely and stressful in ways people don’t always talk about. In our sessions, you’ll have a space where you can be real—no judgment, no pressure, just honest conversations about what’s going on and practical tools to help you cope. Whether you’re struggling with stress, burnout, confidence, friendships, or big life decisions, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, clear, and in control. If you’re ready for support that actually fits your life as a student, I’d love to help you take that next step.

You are seeking therapy because you know it’s time for a change. Your anxiety or trauma have affected how you see and interact with the world, and feeling more at peace seems like a hard-to-reach place. Oftentimes, we’re our own worst critics. You may be telling yourself that you can’t meet your work or academic goals, address challenging relationship issues, or develop the self-esteem and creativity you need to succeed on your path in life. Your perspective of the world may have been shaped by childhood experiences you had little to no control over. Maybe you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and have lost the support of your family or loved ones due to issues related to your identity. Or perhaps you no longer know who you are anymore, don’t like who you are, or don’t know how to relate to other people. You’re here now because you’ve made the decision to become more aware of the negative self-talk that has been affecting daily functioning and ready to learn what to do with it when it comes around. In confronting your fears, and looking within yourself, you learn to understand how to make sense of the world, how to better cope with strategies and tools that are actually useful and your focus begins to shift to things that you can actually control. Seeking change is no small feat and takes incredible courage! Luckily, you don’t have to walk this path alone. Creating a safe space where you get to challenge those beliefs, invest in your well-being, and improve your overall life satisfaction is my highest priority.
