Welcome to Live Wright Counseling. I’m Lennie Wright, LPC, and I provide online therapy for adults throughout Georgia navigating anxiety, overwhelm, stress, and life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and down to earth, creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. I believe every one of us is a good person at heart, we are all trying our best and laziness is a myth. You may have a hard time believing that about yourself. You may have been taught (by families or systems) that you are bad, lazy or selfish. You are scared to make decisions or trust your intuition. You want to love yourself the way you love others! I offer a radically different perspective. I think it is possible to love yourself a little bit at a time, take things less personally and create more space in your life for peace.
Life can often feel messy and chaotic. My passion is to help bring order out of chaos to facilitate growth and peace. Many of my clients present with concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stressful life transitions and circumstances, or they report feeling a little “off” and are seeking help to feel more like themselves again. I work best with clients who are engaged and motivated to see changes in their lives, and I have a great love for coming alongside people to help them move towards becoming the best version of themselves. My goal is shalom, the Hebrew word for peace, wholeness and universal flourishing. Operating from a strengths-based perspective, I work to create a safe environment and partner with clients to help empower and equip them to face life’s challenges, while creating meaning for themselves along the way. If you’re feeling stuck and are looking for a way to help jumpstart your life, I am just a quick message or brief consultation away!
College students often come to me when they feel stuck in painful relationship patterns, weighed down by negative self-perceptions, or overwhelmed by their emotional experiences. Through compassion and careful emotional attunement, I help create meaningful, corrective experiences that support lasting change, strengthen self-understanding, and build a more grounded sense of confidence. I enjoy helping young adults navigate difficult family dynamics, set boundaries with themselves and others, and improve self-esteem. With almost a decade of experience working with college students, I understand the unique stressors that come with earning a college degree while also learning how to be an adult. I am passionate about helping young adults thrive as they navigate the transition to adulthood.

Congratulation on taking the first step in seeking positive changes in your life. Whether you are dealing with past hurt that is causing you pain, or your present life feels unmanageable, a young adult having difficulty finding your way, teen struggling to connect, there is hope. As a therapist my primary goal is to create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space in which you can openly share, explore and achieve a greater self-awareness. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specialize in working with and teens (12-19), young adults (20 -30s), adults and families that are looking to overcome anxieties, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship and family issues. In practice I utilize evidence-based interventions based in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and family system approaches. In my work with adolescents and young adults I enjoy guiding as they learn to identify and express new emotions in a health way. I have a passion for helping them process strong emotions and overwhelming pressures they often encounter as they journey to adulthood. It is my desire to help identify strengths, re-frame perception and modify behaviors to facilitate long term changes.
I have been working with individuals, couples, families and groups for over 9 years as a teacher, case manager, skills trainer and counselor to help others learn to cope with these challenges and obstacles. I have used a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities as I believe that everyone learns and experiences life in their own unique way. We can work together to find ways for you to build your own inner strength and reach your individual goals.
Hi! I’m currently accepting new clients and referrals for teens and adults (13+) who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, life stress… or just that constant feeling of “wow, this is a lot.” If you’ve ever asked yourself, “why am I like this?” while overthinking a text for 45 minutes, replaying conversations like a highlight reel, or ending up in the same situation with different people—yeah, you’re in the right place. And if childhood experiences are still popping up in your adult life like an uninvited guest who refuses to leave… that’s more common than you think. Therapy with me is a real, no-judgment space where we can unpack what’s going on, connect the dots, and actually start shifting patterns—not just analyzing them at 2 a.m. There’s room for honesty, growth, and some humor along the way (because sometimes your brain really does wake up and choose chaos for no reason). My style is laid-back, supportive, and direct. I take a person-centered approach, so we go at your pace—whether you’re thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between. Whether it’s overthinking, relationship stress, family dynamics, or trying to figure out who you are and what you want (no small task), we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control. No pressure. No perfection. Just a space where you can show up as you are. Insurance & Payment Options • Self-pay • Blue Cross Blue Shield • Aetna • United Healthcare / Optum
