I work with young adults who are using alcohol and other substances to cope. Many of my clients are able to reduce their use through weekly counseling with me in combination with group therapy. For clients who need a higher level of care, I can help them identify the appropriate outpatient detox, residential detox, residential treatment or day program. I see clients in person on Roswell Road in Buckhead/Sandy Springs and online throughout Georgia. I also work with young adults struggling with mood disorders or who feel stuck and who want to launch richer, more purposeful lives. Many of my clients are dealing with problems related to anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, or the difficult transition to adulthood. My clients learn skills to cope with big emotions in the moment, while also working to understand their core values, so that they can create a concrete action plan that aligns with who they really are. Prior to becoming a counselor, I taught creative writing. I use narrative therapy and creative writing prompts in my practice for clients who are interested. I have experience working with clients who are struggling with alcohol abuse and addiction. I work with clients curious about reducing their alcohol consumption and with newly sober clients who want support in their recovery. Christian worldview informs my practice, as I walk beside my clients in their understanding of who they are and who they want to become.

Hi there! I work best with people who are carrying a lot at once, whether that’s anxiety, relationships that keep hurting them, substance use that feels out of control, or old experiences they’re finally ready to look at. They usually appear fine on the outside but feel worn down on the inside. What they share is knowing something needs to change and being ready to do the hard work to shift old patterns. College can look exciting on the outside — but behind the scenes, many students feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure they’re keeping up. You may be juggling classes, pressure to succeed, shifting friendships, family expectations, and big decisions about your future — all while trying to hold it together on the outside. If you feel anxious, overwhelmed, unmotivated, or unsure of yourself, you’re not the only one. I work with students who care about doing well but feel burned out from trying to keep up. Many struggle with anxiety, procrastination, trouble focusing, low confidence, perfectionism, or feeling like they don’t quite fit in. Others feel stuck after a setback, unsure about their direction, or overwhelmed by the independence and responsibility that come with college life. Together, we will focus on understanding what’s driving the stress and building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control. We might work on managing anxiety, improving focus and organization, navigating relationships, strengthening confidence, and creating a healthier balance between achievement and well-being. I offer a supportive, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can be real about what you’re going through and feel understood. My goal is to help you make college feel more manageable and to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of who you are.
I work with teens and adults, most of whom have ADHD and/or ASD. I support anxiety, depression, executive dysfunction, trauma, etc. I currently offer therapy groups for young adults who want meaningful connections or who feel like most of their relationships are shallow/want deeper friendships or romantic relationships.
I love working with women, specifically in their 20s-40s. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, mom and stepmom who cares deeply about supporting women and their partners as they navigate challenges and seek to have fulfilling relationships. Many of the women I work with are high-achieving, thoughtful, and carrying more than they let on. They're juggling the load of all the roles they fill, tend to put others before themself, are feeling disconnected or hurt in a relationship, or have a hard time quieting the constant chatter in their minds. With a spirit of authenticity, transparency, and some humor, I help women and couples to feel seen and understood as we unpack current or past issues and create a new path forward.

Does it ever feel hard (or impossible) to just be yourself? You hear it all the time…people say, “just be you,” but it feels out of reach, too utterly terrifying, or too risky. Or maybe you are still discovering who you are. You’re asking questions and getting curious about aspects of your identity, how you view the world, and how you show up authentically in it. Maybe something shifted recently and you are trying to rediscover your sense of self while your world feels upside down. I help people find their most authentic self. In therapy, we get curious about different parts of ourselves. Parts that have had to stay hidden, parts that respond to triggers, parts we’ve been afraid to face. Working together, I'll support you as you deepen your understanding of your full self and increasingly show up as congruent, authentic, and fully you.

Hi! I'm Rachel (She/her). I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism), and LGBTQ identity exploration—along with any big, messy questions about meaning, identity, and purpose. I celebrate all unique identities, values, and lived experiences that you bring into the therapy space. I am committed to upholding values of social justice and fostering advocacy in systems of oppression. Whatever your goal is, I hope to work with you to make a space that helps you feel valued and seen as a whole person. I see therapy as collaborative. We’ll work together to understand your patterns and build your self-trust. I feel honored to serve as a partner with you as we peel away the protective layers no longer serving you. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps increase psychological flexibility—supporting you in building a meaningful life even through hardship and pain. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of overthinking, trying to “fix” their way out of emotions. My approach helps clients shift from analyzing to understanding. We create space for both self-compassion and meaningful change. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Process Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Relational-Cultural Therapy, depending on what best supports your needs, identities and therapy goals. I value authenticity in the therapy space and strive to create an environment where you feel safe to show up as your full self. My therapy style is relaxed, genuine, and laid-back, balancing humor and lightheartedness with sensitivity and empathy.
