Hi! My name is Hannah Davy (she/they), I am the owner and therapist at Bloom and Beyond Therapy. I have worked with college students through the UPMC COSTAR Program over the last three years and am now starting a private practice. I specialized in mood disorders, depression, suicidal thoughts, and life transitions at COSTAR. I also specialize in trauma based therapies (T-FCBT and ITCT) and OCD treatments. I worked in university counseling centers for over 10 years before transitioning to full-time private practice, and really enjoy working with undergraduate and graduate students. College and graduate school is often a time to better understand and define who you are and what does and does not work for you and for promoting your wellbeing. As a psychologist, I work to help clients understand themselves better in the unique context and experiences of their own lives so as to figure out what each individual needs to be well, which may be very different than what you think you should need to be well. I also work to help clients not only manage their symptoms and distress, but also understand the root causes of their symptoms and distress. I believe that this deeper understanding can often lead to transformative healing.

My name is Rachel Noderer and I have spent the past 10 years helping individuals develop a stronger sense of compassion for themselves and mastery over their own identity. I work with folks who may be struggling with a lack of purpose, low self esteem, anxiety, or difficulty managing relationships with friends and loved ones. As we work together, my hope is that you will gradually feel more centered in your sense of self. You'll feel like you are making decisions more thoughtfully and that you are acting in accordance with your values. While I tailor my specific therapeutic interventions to meet your needs, my preference is for a conversational non-directive approach to explore and discover underlying patterns that may be influencing your experiences. I am a person-centered therapist first and foremost - which means I prioritize placing you and all of your intersecting identities at the center of the story. You are the expert in your own life and I'm here to walk beside you, provide feedback, and most importantly provide you the space you need to figure things out. Therapy with me may feel like sitting down with a friend who is your biggest cheerleader. Kachina Mooney, MA, ATR (she/her/ella) is a Registered, Board-Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, who practices in the Pittsburgh region with those from all walks of life. Kachina is TF-CBT trained and she has most recently worked with immigrant children from Central/South America and Afghanistan who have been displaced or who are migrating to the United States for safety. Kachina has also worked with women and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and who are homicide survivors. Within the therapeutic environment, Kachina utilizes a trauma-informed approach alongside existential theory to help make meaning of and process past experiences; further, Kachina utilizes art-making within the therapeutic setting to help discover imagery and metaphor which will enhance the healing process. While Kachina has worked with a large variety of people with varying needs, her work focuses on those who are maneuvering transitional periods (immigration or other life transitions); mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and other needs; as well as grief and loss.
I've dedicated my life to understanding and caring for the mind. Childhood curiosity drew me to study at Cornell University, which ranged from the philosophy of mind to the neurobiology of behavior. After studying neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania, I attended medical school. Here, I fell in love with psychiatry because I was fascinated with patients' stories and their unique ways of enduring them. I sought my graduate medical education at the Western Psychiatric Hospital of UPMC, one of the nation's largest and most renowned university-affiliated psychiatric hospitals. I specialize in integrating evidence-based (e.g., medication) and patient-centered (e.g., hypnosis) therapies. My prescribing is evidence-based and enhanced by patient-centered problem-solving that utilizes your existing attributes while evoking natural learning and adaptation processes. I consider a person's symptoms in the context of understanding them as individuals, considering their development, personality, and life narrative.
