Hello! I am a psychologist who enjoys supporting college-age individuals in a variety of ways. In this season of life, academics and social activities can be common stressors, in addition to family and career issues. Students may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or other learning differences that affect them inside and outside the classroom. I enjoy brainstorming and helping young people access the resources they need, both on campus and in their community. I take a holistic approach to healthy living, and look closely at individual habits and behaviors. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach to individuals who would like to include spirituality or religion in their work. I meet with clients in person in our Chalfont and Chester Springs locations, as well as virtually in the 40+ states that participate in PsyPact (https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap).
Since you’re here, you probably have questions that you are looking to answer, need guidance and support around your struggles and concerns, desire a safe space for exploration and development, or maybe a combination of these. So, how can I help? I am equipped to conduct psychological assessment to promote improved self-understanding and to help build a plan for support across life. Psychological evaluation offers a clear snapshot of functioning characterized by individual patterns, strengths, and needs across a variety of areas. Or if you are looking to secure a supportive environment that facilitates self-discovery, understanding, processing, and growth, I am well-suited to support those needs as well. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and focuses on the whole person. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach for those who wish to incorporate faith and spirituality into their individual process. Whether you come seeking an evaluation or therapeutic support, I look forward to connecting with you! *Please note: Fees vary depending on therapy vs assessment. I also work between two offices. For now, I am in Chester Springs on Wednesdays with the possibility of Fridays. I am in Chalfont Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays with the possibility of Fridays. Please visit https://thecenterinpa.com or call the front office, 215-491-1119, for more information.
I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience, co-founder of The Center for Neuropsychology and Counseling, PC., a consultant to clinicians and other professionals, and a professional public speaker. In my work as a psychologist, I believe that a good match between the client and therapist is key to therapeutic success. My approach is very straight-forward and down-to-earth. I help individuals, couples and families build the skills needed to overcome emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and to move through life changes, creating healthier lives. Consulting with and supervising fellow clinicians is a part of my practice that I truly enjoy. I also provide consultation to attorneys, educators and other healthcare providers. As a wellness consultant, I provide webcasts focused on employee and client wellness. My style is conversational, light-hearted and aims to provide practical guidance. Recent topics I have discussed with national and international corporations are coping and thriving during COVID, adjusting to the new work environment, streamlining your space, mind and work, grief and loss, anxiety and financial decisions, coping with the holidays, and stress management. Dr. Carson-Sacco has the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). As of January 2025, she can see patients virtually in 40 plus states. Hi! Thank you for stopping by. If you are in the middle of big life transitions—figuring out who you are, what you want, and how you relate to the people around you- we might be a good fit. College can bring up questions about identity, relationships, and belonging, along with the stress of academics and life changes. Some students feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves, while others want support navigating dating, friendships, family expectations, or exploring different parts of their identity. The students who tend to connect most with my practice are open to reflecting on their experiences, building self-understanding, and developing healthier, more authentic ways of relating to themselves and others. I love to bring in mindfulness and somatic practices into the therapeutic process and so if this sounds like you- definitely reach out! I also do accept some insurances and so feel free to email me with any questions. I cant wait to hear from you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy in a supportive and queer-friendly environment. I specialize in work with clients with prenatal and postpartum depression, grief, life changes, mood disorders, and substance use. I have professional experience, prior to private practice, working with young adults on an inpatient psychiatric unit and ante/postpartum parents in a hospital setting. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, drawing on mindfulness, humor, the mind-body connection, and elements of CBT and DBT, to help clients build insight and tools for their every day lives. The therapist-client relationship is an important aspect of the therapeutic dynamic in my work and I want to encourage an environment where a patient is able to speak openly and freely.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in your thoughts, or navigating a big transition, you’re not alone. College can bring a lot of uncertainty, pressure, and change—and having support can make a real difference. I work with students who are figuring things out, managing stress, and wanting to feel more grounded and confident in themselves. In our work together, we’ll create a supportive space to explore what’s going on and find tools that help you feel more clear, balanced, and connected.

While I feel that anyone could use the extra help and insight therapy provides, my specialities include issues related to college, job/career, and women’s issues. You deserve the opportunity to be heard and held as you face challenges. Through compassion and humor, I will work with you to cultivate the unique and special relationship between therapist and client that will help guide you. I offer an eclectic approach, borrowing from mindfulness, relational, CBT, attachment-focused, and other modalities. My approach is based on the individual needs of the client, rather than a one-size-fits-all. I come from a place of cultural humility, respecting gender, sexuality, social and racial justice. I understand how each individual is more than the sum of their parts; rather than pathologizing, I support each client as they identify and then build upon their strengths.

"Why now?" is a question I often ask at the beginning of therapy. Some people come in the aftermath of a personal or relationship crisis, some seek relief for old pain, others simply feel certain that its time for a change. My work is well-suited for people experiencing anger, grief, compassion fatigue, trauma reactivity, anxiety, depression, patterns of conflict and concerns of purpose and identity. I'm not overwhelmed by strong feelings or complex struggles. Whatever reason you may have to begin therapy, we'll work together to find the heart of the matter and what might help. My process is insight-oriented and collaborative but I'll tell you what I think. Clients have appreciated my warmth, directness and cultural competency. Some have stayed with me for years or returned after long breaks. I've had success connecting with adolescents and people who feel ambivalent about therapy. I'm deeply curious about how each of my clients experiences the world and I'll be glad to meet you. Reach out, and we can see if we might work well together.
I’m an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, committed to providing care that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and grounded in trauma-informed practices. My clinical focus includes obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, insomnia, sexual health, and challenges in interpersonal relationships. My approach to therapy is collaborative and personalized—working with you to align treatment with your unique values and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I genuinely want to meet you where you are and build on your strengths. If you're thinking about starting therapy, I welcome you to reach out and schedule an initial consultation. It would be a privilege to connect and explore whether I'm the right fit for your needs. Clients pay listed fees ($250 for intake, $225 for follow up sessions) or use out-of-network insurance benefits. I provide superbills for clients to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
