As a therapist, I believe that you have the capacity to find your way back to yourself. With a long background in the field of dance and training in somatic therapies, I see the body as a powerful window to our feelings and the place where healing really happens. I also know the body can be the site of a lot of wounds, judgements, and shame, making it hard to access. I’m here to help you hold the painful parts so that your natural ability to heal can emerge. Using a combination of somatic, psychodynamic and behavioral approaches I will help you build the self-awareness and compassion needed to feel more at home in yourself.
Our team of therapists bring skill, experience and sensitivity to their work. Our therapists are caring, devoted and provide a non-judgmental, accepting environment in which you will feel comfortable to do the remarkable work of psychotherapy. We are culturally sensitive with a humanistic approach and deep empathy for our clients. We embrace working with a diverse clientele and strive to serve all races, religions, national origins, gender expressions, sexual orientations, ages and people with disabilities.
Whether you're going through a difficult life transition, need to process painful or traumatic events, need help managing complex emotions, or want to strengthen your relationships with your family, friends, or yourself, I am here to collaborate with you to figure out the best path forward. Therapy illuminates the patterns we find ourselves in, and also provides ways of coping with the distress resulting from these patterns. Through understanding how our past and present circumstances affect us, we cultivate empathy for ourselves and those around us. I believe in the healing nature of a strong therapeutic relationship. I will work to facilitate growth in your natural areas of strength, while also deepening your understanding of what causes pain. My approach is collaborative and individualized, and includes Relational Psychodynamic techniques, metaphor, CBT techniques, and/or Mindfulness. I look forward to hearing from you, and to learn about how we can work together!
With seven years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults, helping people navigate life transitions, behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, self-esteem concerns, attachment issues, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to meet you where you are. Whether you're carrying something heavy or simply searching for a clearer path forward, I'm committed to creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, seen, supported, and understood. When you feel that kind of safety, meaningful growth becomes possible — and that's what we'll work toward together: healing, resilience, and the life you envision for yourself. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you as we work together toward your goals. In our sessions, you can expect a nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to share your experiences, explore challenges, build on your strengths, and create meaningful growth and change. Because every person's journey is unique, I tailor treatment to your individual needs and goals. My warm, empathetic approach may draw on person-centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), alongside other evidence-based interventions, to provide care that is personalized, collaborative, and genuinely responsive to your experiences. My path to becoming a therapist began with a genuine desire to understand people and how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors shape the lives we live. That curiosity led me toward direct work with families, children, adolescents, and young adults in crisis, experiences that deepened my commitment to trauma-informed, individualized care. Working alongside people in some of their most difficult moments strengthened my ability to show up with compassion, empathy, and understanding, in an environment where people feel genuinely supported. I love playing softball and catching baseball games whenever I can. When I'm not on the field or in the stands, I enjoy watching movies and TV, traveling, and spending time with the friends, family, and loved ones who matter most to me.
Having moved countries multiple times, I deeply understand the stressors and challenges associated with settling into a new place, leaving behind friends, family, and pets. I can help you navigate these challenges and build meaningful connections and a fulfilling life. My primary focus is on adults who feel unfulfilled or trapped in a gilded cage and those who feel like they don't belong. When working with couples and individuals, my specialties include redistributing the mental load, fostering open communication, resolving conflicts, and reigniting intimacy. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of my clients, always respecting their individuality and autonomy. I believe that even the most self-destructive behaviors originate from a place of protection. Let’s work together to reframe your relationships with yourself and others, transforming self-loathing and shame into understanding and kindness.
Healing looks different for everyone, and finding the right support is the first step. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, my work centers on helping individuals and families navigate stress, anxiety, depressive symptoms, and life transitions, including those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Whether you're facing emotional distress, struggling to manage overwhelming feelings, or simply searching for steadier ground, we'll work to build the adaptive coping strategies and emotional regulation skills that make a lasting difference in your well-being. My commitment is to meet you exactly where you are, as a supportive, collaborative partner throughout your care. Together, we'll strengthen your insight, develop meaningful coping tools, and navigate life's challenges in a way that feels sustainable and true to you. Person-centered, strengths-based, and empathetic care isn't just a framework for me; it's the foundation of how I show up for every person I work with. Creating a space where you feel genuinely heard and empowered to grow is something I'm deeply passionate about. Sessions are collaborative and nonjudgmental by design. Your unique needs, experiences, and goals shape the direction of our work together, and I tailor my approach accordingly, whether that means focusing on building coping skills, working through emotional regulation, or finding footing during a difficult life transition. The goal is always to support you in ways that feel relevant, respectful, and grounded in your strengths. My path to this work is one shaped by purpose and intention. Before becoming a therapist, I spent seven years working in the marketing industry in New York City. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, something shifted — a strong pull toward work that was more meaningful, more human, and more centered on helping others care for themselves. That calling led me to pursue my Master of Social Work from Fordham University, and into a field where I could show up for people in ways that truly matter. The transition deepened my commitment to compassionate, person-centered care, and I bring that commitment, along with authenticity and genuine investment in your growth, to every session we share. Outside of the therapy room, staying grounded and connected matters deeply to me. I find joy in watching and playing tennis, tending to my plants, and spending time with my cat, Biscuit, who brings a quiet sense of comfort to everyday life. Continuous learning and personal growth are values I carry both in and out of my work, always looking for ways to feel more connected to the world and the people in it. That same spirit of curiosity and intention is something I bring to the care I offer you.

I help people feel better and improve their lives with music psychotherapy. If you are suffering from anxiety, depression, addiction or everyday stress with relationships, work or family. If you want a fluid and creative approach to therapy that helps you go deep to the core of your issues, I can help. I am a mature psychoanalyst who has experience working with college students and other young adults who are facing life transitions. My areas of strength are working with trauma and BPD. You may be carrying a lot of trauma even if you don't identify yourself as a trauma survivor. My approach is not goal or coach oriented. I do not give advice rather I help people to get in touch with their authentic self so that they may be better able to cope with life's challenges.

I look forward to exploring your personal journey and experience in our work together. My path to becoming a therapist began as a mental health screener for the World Trade Center employees and volunteers who worked at ground zero after 9/11, who faced indescribable tragedy and environmental exposure to an unprecedented event in our nation's history. This experience shaped who I am and the compassionate, patient-focused therapist I strive to be, one that enables me to bring a comprehensive understanding of loss and grief to my practice now. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, from hiking the trails to gardening at home. I also love music and volunteering in my community to strengthen connections.
