I believe therapy is a journey we embark on together, and I approach each session with curiosity and compassion. My aim is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, uncover behavior patterns, and develop practical tools to lead a more fulfilling life. Reaching out can take immense courage, and I admire your strength in seeking support. I believe each person has the power to grow, heal, and embrace the changes they desire. Welcome! We understand that you are a fellow human being doing the best you can to thrive in a not-so-simple world with a not-so-simple brain. You may feel stuck, confused, and overwhelmed…but you are not broken. You do not need to be fixed. Your challenges are most likely a normal reaction to a difficult situation and tough societal expectations. We are here as your ally, resource, and guide to help you better understand your story within the context of a complicated world. We embrace the individuality, uniqueness, and exceptionalities of each person who starts their therapy journey. Over time, we’ll clarify what matters to you and pinpoint various thought patterns and behaviors that get in the way. You will receive support, education, and skills for issues that are most important to you. We also offer adult autism evaluations for those wondering, "Am I autistic?" Our testing process is collaborative, streamlined, and affirming. These can be conducted in-person or over Zoom and consist of conversations, interviews, and forms. I work with adolescents, adults, as well as couples and families. Additionally, I specialize working with all aspects of eating disorders from anorexia to binge eating. IF any of this is you, when would you like to get started working with me?

Hi, I’m Amy (she/her). I work with people navigating life transitions, relationship stress, grief, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, anxiety, and depression. If you’re here, I imagine you might be experiencing some of this yourself—perhaps feeling isolated, longing to make sense of what you’re going through. Together, we’ll uncover patterns and create clarity so you can better understand yourself and your needs. I'm committed to honoring your unique way of being in the world, supporting you as you reconnect with your inner wisdom and pursue meaningful change. I take a person-centered approach to counseling, which means that I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental therapeutic space. I also integrate Expressive Arts therapy techniques when clinically appropriate, including visual art, writing, mindfulness, and body-integrated approaches. I'm an LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity affirming counselor. I know how vulnerable it can be to let someone into your healing process, to trust that your experiences will be held with compassion and care. As someone who has walked my own healing path, I deeply understand this. Please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to connect and learn more about how we might work together.

Life is hard. You’re tired of unfair social standards and exhausted from your identities not being celebrated, valued, or welcomed. The space you occupy comes with expectations and standards that feel like inescapable constraints. When you pause and look up at the stars you feel a sense of belonging and feel connected to your guiding values yet your day-to-day is missing this feeling. You stay overly busy without time to think about the hard stuff, or you find yourself sad and overwhelmed with less interest in things you may normally care about, and wonder where to go from here. This might be where therapy comes in. Together we can move towards seeing yourself as valuable, living the life you want to live, navigating systems of oppression, and creating community as a way to heal. I specialize in working with adults with marginalized identities. My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity-related difficulties. During our sessions, we will work within an anti-racist, social justice, Disability Justice, and Health at Every Size framework. If this sounds like a foundation you’d like to work with and you’re looking for the balance between genuine connection, radical compassion, accountability, and a dash of silliness, I might be the therapist for you
Hi, I’m Dr. Lauren Chase, founder of Climbing Hills Counseling. I help high-achieving women boost their self-esteem, overcome anxiety and self-doubt, and unlock their full potential. Come sit down on your favorite chair, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let’s talk about the pressure you’ve been carrying, including the constant juggling of work, parenting, relationships, and everything in between. Balancing multiple roles and responsibilities can be so exhausting! Whether you're joining between meetings or during naptime, we’ll work together to quiet the self-doubt and ease the anxiety. Let’s help you feel more like yourself again. As a fellow beautifully anxious person, I understand what it’s like to live in constant survival mode, always anticipating the next challenge and struggling to enjoy your achievements because it’s hard to feel “good enough.” Let’s work together to quiet that anxiety, stop the people-pleasing, and silence that bully in your head telling you that you’re just not “enough.” You can overcome your challenges and reconnect with your true self. Sometimes, though, we all need a little guidance and a push up the hill to get there. By understanding the “how” and “why” behind our behaviors, we can become brave enough to break free from old patterns and start creating a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and authentic. I believe therapy should feel approachable, empowering, and rooted in authenticity. Come as you are, messy, tired, driven, unsure. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Together, we’ll create a space where you’re fully seen and supported while you work toward the goals you’ve carried for too long.
I am so glad you found me on your journey! It can be a learning process to show up as your authentic self as you navigate through life, but you don't have to do it alone. If you've ever felt the weight of anxiety, responsibilities, stress, loneliness, life transitions & a lack of motivation; you don't have to carry it by yourself. Finding true peace & happiness involves doing the work to become a better you! If you wish to self-improve, strengthen your relationships, find your voice & rework your motivation, let's chat! I have a passion for working with youth, adolescents, and college students. My specialties involve anxiety, stress, goal-setting, self-esteem, behavioral concerns & life-transitions. We can also explore self-awareness, which leads to self-acceptance and positive outcomes. I aim to provide a space where you can unpack & move through life with a lighter load. Through genuine collaboration, you can take control of your healing process in a healthy way. I draw from compassion, affirmations, and a strengths-based perspective to highlight your capabilities throughout your journey. Allow me to offer you a safe, nonjudgmental space to help you achieve the life you deserve!
