Are you struggling with adjusting to college, managing anxiety and stress? Do you feel it is challenging to make meaningful social connections? If your anxiety and stress are getting in the way of your daily life, it might be a good time to connect with a therapist who can help. Let’s work together to create a plan so you feel confident in managing your emotions and gain a sense of control in this life stage filled with new experiences and transitions. Continue reading to learn how booking a therapy session is the one of the best decisions you can make. I specialize in helping college and grad school students develop strategies to reduce stress, anxiety and build strong connections. We'll work together to identify ways to manage your emotions, work on changing your anxious thoughts to more realistic ones and find healthy ways to connect with others and manage daily stressors. Send me an email or give me a call to get started and we'll schedule a free 15 minute consultation. We can work together to make being a college or grad school student less scary! Please note, I only provide telehealth services to those who are physically in Massachusetts or Maine. My availability is Monday through Thursday from 10am - 7pm.

I am a short-term therapist who works specifically with clients with chronic health conditions. Over the course of 20 sessions, we learn all about what is happening in your body and brain, learn and practice coping skills to manage anxiety related to your chronic medical condition, and have the option to complete hypnotherapy for chronic illness as well. If you are struggling with mental health related to a chronic health condition, and especially if you are experiencing high amounts of anxiety and low quality of life related to health symptoms, you will be a great fit for what I provide. If you have never done therapy before, or if you have found that your current therapist doesn’t quite “get it,” and you’re hoping to work with someone that has an intimate knowledge of chronic illness and hospital systems, then you will be a great fit. I also work alongside your full-time therapist if you have a therapist you love and would like to stay with while we complete our work together. I am also a good fit for someone who is specifically seeking out an LGBTQ therapist. I only offer virtual therapy at this time.

Hello! My overarching approach is Relationship-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I find that integrating CBT with key therapeutic relationship factors such as validation, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness produce the best outcomes. When appropriate, I also utilize such approaches as mindfulness, acceptance, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills. My goal is to not only reduce the distress from your presenting problems but also improve your overall well-being and experience personal growth across many facets of life. I have specialized in treating adolescents and adults in various settings, from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to community outpatient clinics. I can treat significant mental health issues like PTSD and chronic depression, while also providing support for significant life adjustments like transitioning to college and high school related stressors. I’m originally from central MA and a psychology professor at Assumption University where I teach graduate students to be CBT counselors. Please feel free to explore my website to learn more about me and the services I provide. I pride myself in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship while working towards goals that are important to you!

I work with people from all walks of life who are ready to look inward, explore patterns, and make meaningful change. Together, we’ll address your goals—whether that’s managing symptoms, improving relationships, or finding a greater sense of purpose and peace. I believe therapy works best when it’s grounded in trust, curiosity, and collaboration. Because diagnoses are never one-size-fits-all, I approach mental health as a specific set of experiences in a complex world. I show up as my genuine self to show that therapy can truly be for anyone. Working with students is particularly important to me as it is a crucial part of a person's identity development. It can be one of the most challenging and important times in a person's life. I’m ready to work together to make your life feel like a place you want to be.
