Welcome to my page! My name is Liz and I specialize in working with young adults who are looking to find peace and tranquility in their lives. I build my practice on the foundation that everyone deserves to find happiness and I approach my work with empathy, a sense of humor and a warm-hearted demeanor. Through my work, I've seen the incredible potential that young people possess, and my goal is to explore strategies that will empower you to make lasting changes that promote personal growth. I feel strongly that in a safe and nurturing environment, you can thrive. My role is to assist you in developing the necessary skills and coping mechanisms to navigate life's challenges such as anxiety, depression, familial and relationship issues, as well as stress. Together, we can strengthen your relationships, improve communication, and foster personal growth. Well navigate the challenges and overwhelm to make your journey more manageable. I'm really excited to work collaboratively with you and I look forward to connecting with you soon!
I like to create a safe and supportive environment to allow clients to explore the challenges in their lives and to create healthier coping strategies and ways of thinking to live happier and more satisfying lives. I enjoy working with adults and older adolescents struggling with stress, life problems, self-confidence, and/or relationship issues. I have a background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I utilize a variety of techniques in sessions. I am a strong believer in "word choice" and becoming aware of the implications our words have on our thoughts and feelings.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. By offering the space to explore thoughts and feelings without judgment, I help my clients gain clarity, work towards self-acceptance, and create more balanced, fulfilling lives. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, body image issues, and life transitions. I also enjoy helping young adults cope with challenges around identity development, stress management, and relationships. Therapy is a collaborative process during which clients gradually gain the insight and tools that empower them to create lasting, positive change. Good therapy happens when you feel respected and understood. Transformation comes through honest dialogue with your therapist. My style is collaborative and interactive. I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in helping young adults navigate anxiety, depression, academic stress, relationship issues, and life transitions. Currently, my practice offers telehealth sessions, providing flexibility and convenience for clients. Before starting my private practice, I worked in various settings, including schools, residential programs, and community-based organizations. I am passionate about what I do, and my primary goal is to help clients build confidence, improve their overall well-being, and equip them with effective tools to handle future challenges and stressors. My approach to therapy is eclectic, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and acceptance-based strategies to foster meaningful, positive change. Above all, I believe that a trusting, supportive relationship is at the heart of the therapeutic process. My style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental, and I am dedicated to providing a safe space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported.
Hi there! I'm Heather, a proud Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice as a prescriber since 2023, and worked in the mental health field in various settings for more than a decade prior as an RN. I work across the lifespan and with a variety of conditions. (Please note that at this time I am not prescribing controlled substances.) I believe in shared decision making and a person-centered approach to care; we're a team! I have a kind but direct approach to discussions and am solution-focused. I believe that medications are a tool, not a fix, so we will talk about a variety of interventions to support your wellness. You can expect that I will ask about your goals for care, and life, and that we will work together to meet those goals. I will sometimes assign "homework" to continue interventions outside of sessions in addition to any medication changes we may decide to make.
