Are you struggling with sadness, motherhood stress, anger, relationships, or family? Are you feeling emotionally drained? Or maybe you and/or your child is having behavioral challenges, racial identity issues/trauma, or a hard time adjusting to a relocation, divorce or separation, or other change(s) in their life? We help rebuild and reunify individuals and families by teaching coping skills and better communication skills to children ages 3-18, adults, and families. We use different therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of our clients and achieve results. We help children and adults learn how to understand, control, and share their emotions appropriately, and make better choices. In addition to talk therapy with adults and adolescents, we also use play therapy with children who have a hard time appropriately expressing their feelings and experiences. We specialize in family therapy, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, race, ethnicity, and cultural identity issues/trauma, working with children and adolescents with behavioral challenges, and parenting. We provide clients with a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment, to openly talk about their thoughts and feelings. We take an open-minded approach to client wellness and consider the client's work life, family traditions, cultural, and spiritual beliefs. We provide support for developing a new way of seeing and moving through life.

I enjoy helping others reach their goals using a personable, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing clients succeed in reaching or exceeding their goals. My specialties include stress, anxiety, relationships, motivation, focus, and confidence/assertiveness. Holistic in scope, my approach takes into consideration the many facets of you as an individual, including one's physical health, interpersonal relationships, and spirituality (if desired). Having taught mindfulness now for over 20 years, I enjoy incorporating these skills, helping my clients to be more present and relaxed daily. I work collaboratively with clients helping them to skillfully move toward the change they are seeking and ultimately gain more personal freedom and resiliency in the face of life’s varied challenges. In addition to being a therapist, I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. This helps me to educate my clients on how diet, exercise, and lifestyle affect mental health. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, we work best with college students who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain—even if everything looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are balancing classes, work, family expectations, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their future, all at the same time. You may be experiencing constant stress, anxiety that makes it hard to focus, low confidence, or feeling stuck in your own head. Some students come to us feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are navigating depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available. Our practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about what they’re going through without feeling rushed, labeled, or misunderstood. We focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, counseling is a collaborative process. We believe progress happens best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their growth. Our clinicians work alongside students to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen confidence in both academic and personal areas of life. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, we help students identify their values, recognize their strengths, and develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship concerns. Our goal is not just to help you get through college, but to support you in building skills and self-understanding that will serve you well beyond it.

Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

Trauma impacts our relationships. It's that simple. If your sexual assault makes it hard to be touched, if events from your childhood leave you afraid to trust, if the way your ex treated you is ruining things for you now: you're experiencing that impact. It may feel like a lot, but having the type of relationships you want (laugh 'til you cry, hot sex, deep emotional connection, whatever!) is totally achievable. You don't have to feel embarrassed by what you've gone through or scared to speak it out loud. Vulnerability, authenticity, and healthy connection are waiting for you and you don't have to find them on your own. In addition to post-traumatic growth, I help individuals and couples who are managing sexual dysfunction, infidelity, or are experiencing general relationship issues. For those who identify as LGBTQIA+ and those in alternative relationship structures: my practice is affirming and inclusive. I serve these populations safely, competently, and joyfully. I look forward to being a "someone who gets it" in your life and meeting you in a space where nothing is considered too much information. In fact, TMI is my favorite kind of I! Just send me a message to set up a consult.

I believe that hope and healing is an attainable goal for everyone. I work with individuals and families coping with depression, self esteem, anxiety, behavior problems, relationship issues, adoption, grief, domestic violence, and multicultural issues to help them them recover from trauma, refocus on the things that bring true joy, and find healing. I believe that when clients learn to refocus their thoughts and make key behavioral changes, they are able to find peace and renewed wellness. A Christ centered approach is offered and discussions of faith are welcome while not mandatory. Client's views are respected and honored. I operate primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral model, focusing on the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how to bring about change. This approach is well suited to working with a wide variety of issues including Depressive and Anxiety Disorders. Millie, my therapy dog in training, also accompanies me to the office some days. I grew up in several countries all over the world which now allows me to offer counseling from an expert point of view on the unique challenges facing "third culture kids" and their families. I am also well versed in Latin American culture and am fluent in Spanish.

Do you want to feel connected to others? Are you looking to transform an emotional wound? Are you seeking hope? You deserve to feel known and seen and understood. You deserve to feel permanent. As a queer, nonbinary, polyamorous therapist, I understand the importance of developing secure attachments in order to navigate the world. I offer individual and relationship therapy. I work with teens, young adults, and adults to explore gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodiversity, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationships. I take a collaborative approach to the therapeutic relationship and tailor sessions to your goals in therapy. As we work together this may look like traditional talk therapy or an embodied drama therapy approach. If you are looking for a therapeutic modality that moves beyond verbal processing into a somatic practice, drama therapy is a good option. Through metaphor, we can explore trauma while minimizing retraumatization. We can explore roles like the hero, the optimist, and the child. Through play, we can connect and transform.
