Ginger sees therapy as a pathway to living your best life. As you work collaboratively with Ginger, you'll increase your awareness of unconscious behavior patterns, often developed early on as a way to cope. You'll then be free to transform the life you're living into the life you've always hoped for. Ginger's goals are to help clients resolve past generational issues, emotional turmoil, and life stressors in a compassionate and nonjudgmental way. Ginger has been working as a psychotherapist for 27 years. She got her Master's degree in counseling psychology from Lesley University then went on to attend the Denver Psychoanalytic Institute. Her therapeutic style includes Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, mindfulness, psychoanalytic-oriented therapy, and some cognitive therapy. Her approach is eclectic and based on the individual's needs.

I earned my B.A. in psychology from Winthrop University and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. As a clinical intern, I take a deeply relational approach to therapy, grounded in cultural awareness, developmental understanding, and a commitment to meeting clients exactly where they are. I believe that people grow through connections, and I work collaboratively to build a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, authentic, and genuinely supportive. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults as they navigate identity development, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I strive to create a warm, attuned space where clients can explore their experiences, make meaning of their stories, and move toward greater clarity and self-understanding. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy watching movies, playing outdoor club soccer, and practicing the clarinet to help me stay grounded, creative, and balanced.

Needing help does not make you weak, it makes you human. It is my goal as a therapist to provide a safe environment to help in the exploration, processing, and solution-finding process. I am passionate about areas of Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Relationships, and Identity Development.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I provide a warm, authentic, and trauma-informed approach to therapy that focuses on women’s health, empowerment, and overall wellness. My passion for supporting women began early—through mentoring middle school girls, working with nonprofits dedicated to women’s social justice, and later training to provide mental health services to survivors of interpersonal violence. For the past 12 years, I have remained deeply committed to helping women of all ages navigate life’s challenges and pursue growth and healing. I specialize in supporting women and women-identified individuals through experiences such as managing social media pressures, coping with fertility issues, adjusting to motherhood, navigating the aging process, healing from interpersonal violence, and cultivating self-compassion while balancing multiple roles. My goal is to help clients thrive by fostering self-acceptance, resilience, and empowerment. I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including community mental health clinics and hospital systems. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs using evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. My priority is to create a safe, inclusive space where you feel heard, supported, and respected. Outside of my professional work, I value connection, humor, and activities that ground and recharge me. I find joy in good food, laughter, time in nature, and quality moments with family and friends. These experiences remind me of the importance of presence, play, and balance—values I often integrate into my work with clients.

This mix of creative activities helps me stay grounded, recharge, and maintain a sense of joy and balance in my daily life.
Feeling behind or disconnected, even though you’ve done everything “right,” can be overwhelming and lonely. Maybe you’ve thought, “Why can’t I just get over this?” or “I should be stronger by now.” I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those dealing with perfectionism, self-worth, and body image concerns. Together, we’ll slow down and create a safe space where you feel seen and supported as you explore what’s been holding you back. I believe healing happens at your own pace, and I’m passionate about helping you reconnect with your most authentic self. You deserve to live a life that leaves you excited to wake up every morning. Our work will focus on reclaiming your personal power and growing your capacity to create change in your life. One of my guiding beliefs as a therapist is that you already possess the strength, ability, and innate qualities needed to evolve; I am here to help identify and remove the obstacles standing in your way. In therapy, we create a space to discover realistic solutions to problematic patterns and learn coping skills that produce lasting change to create your best life. My desire as your therapist is to offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to show up as your authentic self. I use an evidence-based therapeutic approach to construct healthy solutions to life concerns. I have strong strategies for managing Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Trauma, work-life balance, and goal completion. I have had the privilege of working in a variety of social work settings within the last decade. I have a wealth of experience working with children and families, behind the walls of a jail with those struggling with their life circumstances and severe hopelessness, and people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
I have a wide range of experience working with individuals, couples and teenagers. I have a solid understanding of various therapeutic approaches and techniques that can be tailored to your specific needs. I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy, acknowledging the interconnectedness of your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. By considering all aspects of your life, we can work together to develop strategies that promote overall health and happiness. Therapy is not just about addressing current difficulties; it is also focused on personal growth and healing. I can help you identify patterns, uncover underlying issues, and develop coping strategies, leading to lasting positive change in your relationships.
Is pain from your past or worries about the future making it hard to enjoy the present? Do you want to have more fulfilling relationships with others? Hi there, my name is Meg, and I am happy you found my page! My goal is to guide you in rediscovering and accepting all the parts of what makes you, you. We achieve this together through compassionate care that helps you build confidence, find your voice, and figure out what really matters to you, whether that’s in your relationships, in your work, or how you spend your time. I also help you recognize patterns you’ve been stuck in, habits that don’t serve you anymore, or ways of being that might have been passed down through family, so you can break free from those cycles. I welcome you to my therapeutic space and am excited to get to know you! My therapeutic approach creates a space where you can share your stories while feeling truly heard and understood. Together, we look at what’s working in your life and what isn’t, then figure out how to make changes that feel true to who you actually are. Part of that often means learning to let go of and/or say no to things that drain you, and yes to things that feel meaningful. In this supportive space, I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in each of my sessions. I further tailor care to focus on skill building through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), explore patterns of behavior/change through Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma processing with Internal Family Systems (IFS), and build tolerance with anxiety-provoking situations through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as needed. Aside from building the tools to navigate symptoms and experiences related to mental health diagnoses, my ultimate goal is for you to feel realigned to your authentic self, to feel powerful and confident, and to find meaning in your life. Mental health wasn’t something that was prioritized or openly talked about in my family, so it wasn’t until early adulthood that I first began learning about therapy as a volunteer with AmeriCorps. My own experience in therapy eventually inspired me to become a therapist, and I’m deeply grateful for everything that journey has taught me and the ways it has given back to my life. Outside the office, you might find me wandering around a local thrift store, playing with my cat Phil, watching Survivor with my husband, drinking coffee and walking through the Botanic gardens, crocheting, or enjoying other crafty activities that help keep me balanced.
