Alisa is a Queer Latinx therapist, activist, supervisor, and consultant. She holds a Master of Addiction Studies and a Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota and has been in the field for over 15 years working in a variety of roles.

Alisa approaches therapy as a collaborative experience meeting people where they’re at, non-judgmentally and forming genuine relationships that cultivate wholeness. As a social worker she strives to bring awareness to the link between mental health and wellness and social justice by challenging beliefs rooted in systemic oppression. She works from a psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and relational perspective believing that it’s never too early or too late to fortify the soul.
